Service Provider of the Year - 2000

DIG received the 2000 Service Provider of the Year Award at the 7th Annual Oakville Awards for Business Excellence. This award was given in recognition of a firm’s outstanding commitment to providing service excellence to their clients and a commitment to the community.

C2P3 National Award for Project Financing - 2000

On our $30 million “THE BIG PIPE” design/build project, the project’s unique integration of parallel public-private partnerships, design/build project delivery and front-end financing were recognized by the Canadian Council of Public Private Partnerships and received the Silver Award in the category of Project Financing at the November 2000 National Conference and Awards Dinner. It was a great honour to receive this prestigious award with our private and public sector partners!





APWA Project of the Year - 2002

The D’Orazio-Walter Joint Venture and Halton Region were named by the Ontario Chapter of the American Public Works Association (APWA) as the winner of the 2002 Project of the Year in the over-$10 million Environmental Projects category for “The Big Pipe” project.

APWA Project of the Year - 2006

D’Orazio and the Lake Huron Primary Water Supply System were named by the Ontario Chapter of the American Public Works Association (APWA) as the winner of the 2006 Project of the Year in the over-$10 million Environmental Projects category for the Strathroy-Caradoc watermain project.





OPWA Project of the Year - 2009

D’Orazio, Hatch Mott MacDonald and Halton Region were named by the Ontario Public Works Association (Ontario Chapter of the American Public Works Association - APWA) as the winner of the 2009 Project of the Year in the under $2 million Emergency Repair category for the emergency outfall repairs at the Skyway Wastewater Treatment Plant.

50th Anniversary Celebration

2016 marked 50 years from the time Albert set out on his own to form what is today, D’Orazio Infrastructure Group. We were very proud to have reached this milestone and celebrated it with two separate events attended by all of our employees, private and public sector clients, business partners, suppliers, sub-contractors and public officials from local, provincial and federal governments.
